The Marauder Drone Club is a team of McMaster University students who are passionate about designing and constructing quadrotor aircraft.
Members conduct research into new technology and work together to build drone prototypes.
No technical experience is required to join, and students from all faculties are welcome to contribute!
This is the digital model of our innovative new drone design. We are still in the process of creating a working prototype, but we are almost there!
The drone features self-leveling flight, an Arduino Mega microcomputer, and reliable remote control.
The design team uses advanced simulation tools and cutting-edge aerodynamics design techniques to optimize the design.
The build team employs modern engineering principles and materials to transform the design into a real-life prototype.
The software team programs our powerful Arduino Mega board to provide fine-tuned analytics and flight-control.
